A Logotype for the New York Cervantes Institute

The design, created by Mikel Urmeneta, serves to promote some workshop sessions on science which has been organized by the Cervantes Institute in New York

The creative director of Kukuxumusu, Mikel Urmeneta, has designed a logotype that will serve to announce some forthcoming workshop sessions which will begin from next 24th of January.

The design made by Urmeneta shows the image of an atom and whose center is a heart which represents a love for science. Around the heart are the participants interacting with the each other and with the guest speaker.

The sessions have been organized by the science journalist, Luis Quevedo, and they will feature some well-known personalities from the world of science. Among these will be our good friend, the science writer Pere Estupinyà, for whom we designed a cover for his book "El ladrón de cerebros".

The talks will begin on Tuesday of this week with the projection of the documentary "En busca del primer europeo" (‘In search of the first European'), directed by the scientist Luis Quevedo and which also features one of the co-directors of the archeology site, Atapuerca, Eudald Carbonell. The documentary has been awarded with the Prismas 2011 Award; the Special Rome Award, Roma DOCSCIENT 2011 and selected for showing at the Zaragoza Film Festival.
